Pride of Solent Award

Anyone can be nominated for a KSM Telecom Pride of Solent Award as long as they currently live in Isle Of Wight, Havant or Hampshire. It may be for a single act of incredible courage, a long-lasting battle against the odds, or for inspirational campaigning.
If people are unsure which category best suits the nominated person, the team will allocate a category. Voting will be online www.innonthebeach.co.uk. Voting will open on Monday 8th July and close on Sunday 1st September 2019.

For a group of people who have worked together in partnership as a force for the good in their local community, improving the lives of people around them. This could be anything from supporting young people to thrive to bringing communities together to create something special. Whether they have excelled in business, healthcare, the arts, in the community or education, get the recognition they deserve.
Inn On The Beach Fundraiser of the Year
For tireless and inspirational charity fundraising, aged 16 and over.
Southern Co-operative Funeral Care Youthful Fundraiser of the Year
To reward a young person aged 15 and under for inspirational charity work.
Hayling Print 999 Award
For police, fire, ambulance, paramedics, emergency responders, Royal National Lifeguard Institute of air or sea rescue who have gone beyond the call of duty.
Cin Events Outstanding Bravery
For adults who risk their own safety to help others in danger.
Hayling Hardware Warrior of Courage
To reward a young person aged 15 and under for battling against the odds to help others, or putting themselves at risk to save someone in danger.
I Can See The Sea Lifetime Achievement
To recognise far-reaching achievement, possibly on a national or international scale.
The Hayling Barbershop Special Recognition
Awarded to recognise contributions over the whole of a career, rather than or in addition to single contributions.
